THE HISTORY ON COFFEE
The history of coffee has been recorded as far back as the ninth century At first, coffee remained largely confined to Ethiopia, where its native beans were first cultivated by Ethiopian highlanders. However, the Arab world began expanding its trade horizons, and the beans moved into Yemen, where until ca 1700 the major emporium was Mocha, and thence to North Africa and were mass-cultivated. From there, the beans entered the Indian and European markets, and the popularity of the beverage spread.

Coffee - Just a regular coffee
Espresso - 'condensed' coffee brewed by forcing water through coffee grinds.
Cappuccino - 2 parts espresso, 1part steamed milk, topped with milk froth.
Cafe Latte - 1 part espresso, 1 part steamed milk and very little milk froth.
Cafe Au Lait - 2 parts espresso, 2 parts hot milk.
Cafe Americano - 1 part espresso and 3 parts hot water.
Macchiato - 1 part espresso and topped with milk foam.
Cafe Con Leche - 1 part espresso and 1 part steamed milk plus 1 tsp. sugar
Cafe Mocha - 1 part espresso & 2 parts steamed milk w/ 1tsp. cocoa powder.
Cafe Breve - 1 part espresso 1 part steamed half and half.
Espresso Con Panna - 1 part espresso - topped with whipped cream.
